Beginning

Welcome to my new website. First off – if you’ve been to my old blog, you’ve noticed that I’ve changed the name of the comic. Used to be Stones, now it’s CurtisFir. I’ve made that change for a couple of reasons:

  • The domain CurtisFir.com was available. But oddly enough, someone had already taken stones.com – along with .net, org, and who knows how many other dots. Crazy huh?
  • Secondly, I think that CurtisFir is a more memorable title. Stones (although I was unable to find another comic with that title) is kind of …meh. Boring, you know? Maybe that’s why no one else was using it.

So that being said, CurtisFir it is – from now on. Don’t worry, you’ll get used to it.

One other thing, in case you’re asking yourself – just what is a CurtisFir? Ever play that game, the one where you figure out what your pornstar name would be? Your first name is your actual middle name, and you last name is the name of the street you lived on as a kid. In my case, my pornstar name would be Curtis Fir (cue the cheesy music).

Anyhoo…here’s CurtisFir #1. For those of you who don’t know, the hairy character is called Rock Man – and his dog is Sniffy. RM spends his time wandering the country – and city – collecting stones. The other dude is named Sign Guy. More about him in my next post.
